Dr. Chou is a pioneering world leader in space biology and healthcare development and technologies and is passionate about disrupting human healthcare and push the boundaries of science. He is a committee member of the Australian Space Agency Space Medicine and Life Science group and is a research group leader at the University of Technology Sydney.

Dr. Rowena Christiansen
Space Physician
Rowena is dual-qualified as a physician and a lawyer. She has engaged deeply with space health and medicine in extreme environments. Rowena practises in pre-hospital emergency medicine and teaches human physiology and clinical practice skills in the University of Melbourne Medical School. Her post-graduate training includes emergency medicine and critical care, women and children’s health, aerospace medicine, and disaster health. She is a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association and in 2019 founded the ad astra vita project.

Dr. Mark Liu
Fashion Designer
Mark is a fashion designer and researcher who brings science to high fashion. A pioneer of zero-waste fashion best known for exhibiting work in London Fashion Week and museums around the world. His research explores the fields of 3D scan to bespoke garment algorithms, carbon negative algae-based fabrics, 3D printed garments and zero-waste recyclable single use surgical gowns.
Mark is a Central Saint Martins graduate who worked at Alexander McQueen before starting his own sustainable fashion label.

Arran Salerno
Space Lawyer
Drawing on a diverse commercial, legal and brokering background, Arran has a track record of applying a unique cross-disciplinary approaches to solve unique problems in a range of industries, including Property, Design, Law and most recently the Commercial Space industry.
In 2019 Arran brokered Australia’s first biological experiment to fly on the International Space Station, and in the years since has negotiated agreements with global Space Agencies and commercial satellite operators. Arran's legal and multidisciplinary career adds value to the many facets of this project

Hirotomo Tomaru
Business x Investment Manager
Hirotomo Tomaru, (MBA) has extensive experience in risk management and mitigation and has previously held executive positions in world-renowned corporate including AlliedSignal, Honeywell, GE, etc. His expertise is in development of new corporate sales and providing strategic risk management both in Japan and in Singapore, Taiwan, China and Malaysia. With over decades of corporate leadership, we are excited to have Hirotomo join EXPLOR JAPAN to develop our strategic roadmap for the space healthcare industry.

Dene Huntley
Human Centric Designer
Dene is an Industrial Designer with a decade of design experience and expertise within the emerging exoskeleton sector. His Human Centric Design approach includes work on military, industrial, medical and space exoskeletons.
Dene's understanding and ingenuity reflect a holistic approach of disciplines across industries including disruptive technologies such as 3D printing and biomimicry to anthropological interpretation and psychological analysis of human centric experiences to innovate solutions.
